The World Sailing Trust has been established to support the global sailing community. Our aim is to promote and enhance sailing in all its forms and protect the waters our sport depends on.
PEOPLE
Sailing is for everyone, whatever their gender, capacity, wealth, age or nationality.
We believe that sailing as a sport benefits when a diverse range of people are able to participate, and we know that the opportunity to sail benefits individuals too.
We believe that those with fewer opportunities should be supported to fulfil their potential and compete at the highest level.
PLANET
As the sailing community, we have a responsibility to protect the waters we sail on and to promote environmentally sustainable activities, products and practices.
The planet’s water is facing an unprecedented crisis. Sailors and the sailing community need to work together to promote the greater protection and a lasting positive impact on our global waters be that oceans, seas, rivers lakes or inland waterways.
